Speed School athlete and former Cienega Bobcat star Matt Aragon was offered a roster spot on the University of Arizona football team earlier this summer. Aragon was a two-time All-Division selection and one of the top punters in the state, and showed his athleticism in being recognized as an All-Division selection for his play as a wide receiver as well. A 2015 Cienega graduate, he holds the school record for longest punt with an impressive boot of 71 yards.
In joining the Wildcats, Aragon becomes the third Speed School athlete currently on the roster, joining linebacker Jason Sweet and running back Jarrett Mitchell.
