Avenging a year-old loss in the 2016 state title game, Salpointe was dominant in a 4-0 win in this year’s 4A state championship win over defending champion Notre Dame. Three out of Salpointe’s four goals in the title game were scored by Speed School athletes: Kate Connelly (17′), Catalina Alvarado (45′), Paloma Teran (60′).
