In a matchup that featured Speed School athletes on both sides of the pitch, Foothills girls’ soccer won a 4-1 match over Salpointe in the title game of the Brandon Bean tournament. Salpointe, the defending 4A State Champion, has 7 Speed School athletes on its roster: Isabella Almazan, Grace Kaufman-Fuller, Sydney Lenhart, Kate Connelly, Catalina Alvarado, Paloma Teran, and Lauren Bollinger.
Catalina Foothills has 4 Speed School athletes on the team: Becca Burrows and Sophie Fell along with team captains Meghan Hawkins and Hannah Draper.
