In what was somewhat of a battle between Desert Speed School athletes on opposing sides of the court, #1 Catalina Foothills defeated #3 Salpointe in a tight 5-4 match between the two tennis powerhouses. Speed School athlete Harsh Parikh won the #1 singles match for the Lancers, while Foothills’ Mason Lee got a win for the Falcons in the #2 match. In the doubles matchups, Parikh and Lee – along with their respective partners – went head-to-head, with Salpointe getting the hard-fought win.
Foothills ultimately pulled out the win – their 83rd consecutive – thanks to an 8-6 doubles win by Desert Speed School athlete Krishna Dasika and his partner. Full results…
