Already having won the 800m title in his age group, Derrick Silva recently added a second national championship in the 11-12 age group in winning the 2014 Junior Cross Country Championships. In what was described as one of the closest – and certainly most exciting – races of the day, Silva edged out the runner-up by less than half a second after a full 1.8 miles of racing. Results…
