Speed School athletes – and graduates of the Sabino high school girls soccer program – have factored significantly into the Pima Aztecs strong start to the 2014. Defender Brandi Park was part of a Pima back line that allowed just two shots on goal against Chandler CC, and also assisted in the 2-0 win as well.
Also a Sabino grad and Speed School athlete, Devyn Hunley scored the other goal unassisted. For her efforts on both sides of the field, Park was named ACCAC Player of the Week.
