Trainer honored as Player of the Week

Most of our news updates typically honor Speed School athletes in the program who have earned recognition for their performance. This time, it’s one of our instructors who is deserving of the honor.

Shaun Cooper, Head Performance Trainer for our Northwest and Southwest locations, was awarded earlier this summer as the Intercounty Baseball League’s Player of the Week on July 20th. Cooper trains athletes at the Speed School most of the year, but also competes professionally in the US and Canada (currently playing for the Burlington Bandits of the IBL). His award for Player of the Week came after a week of impressive play at the plate in which he hit .579, including one outing that included four hits, a double, and a HR for 5 RBI.

While we always look forward to having Shaun back on our staff following the conclusion of his professional season and playoffs, we wish him continued success – and a deep playoff run!
