Desert Speed School athletes Ty Pham-Swann and Ryan Spitzer were recognized for their strong 2017-2018 high school seasons in being named to the Southern Arizona All-Freshman team. Spitzer helped lead his underdog Sabino team to one upset after another throughout the state playoffs, eventually making it all the way to the Final Four.
For his part, goalkeeper Pham-Swann was named first-team and also recognized as Defender of the Year following his play in goal for Catalina Foothills. Full story…
