Three of the Desert Speed School’s tennis players have recently had strong showings at regional tournaments. Yash Parikh, the reigning boys’ state champion, won the USTA Junior Regionals with a straight-sets win.
Meanwhile, the reigning girls’ state champion Kirtana Bhat completed the Western States Junior Open with a straight-sets win of her own in the finals. Harsh Parikh also finished 4th in his age-group at that same tournament.
