Speed School athlete takes 6th nationally at “The Duel”

Speed School athlete Ryan Fontaine recently traveled to Ohio for an invite-only camp with players from across the country. Competing with 35 other invited 7th-graders, he took 6th overall in the quarterback rankings. “The Duel,” as the camp is known, is put on by the National Football Academy.

Speed School athletes Nick Gonzales (Cienega) and Daniel Durazo (Salpointe) were both named to the USA Baseball Southwest teams. These teams will compete in August against other regional teams, with players then being selected for the national developmental team. Full story…

Parikh wins Southwest Junior Championship
