Tanque Verde’s Bailey Bish is within striking distance of qualifying for the State Tournament for golf, according to Andy Morales of AllSportsTucson. Bish, no stranger to challenges, was honored last summer as an All-American by the U.S. Marine Corps. A difficult surgery four years ago led to the loss of some motor control on her right side, forcing her to give up the sport of basketball. However, she picked up golf and currently stands with a chance to qualify for the state tournament, pending final match results this week. Full story…
