Speed School athlete Mario Padilla was among a number of athletes with productive summers this year, starring on the Tucson Turf Elite team that won the flag football national championship earlier this summer. Read about the Tucson Turf Elite here.

Also on the football field, Zachery Edmonds, Bobby Heitzinger, and Alex Kowalewski played well enough at summer camps to earn invites to the elite Top Gun national camp in Dublin, Ohio.

Among the 2015 class, Salpointe’s Annie Scarangella committed to Brown University and Sabino’s Brianna Pitre has accepted a basketball scholarship to Cal-State Fullerton.
