Speed School athlete Daniel Robertson was recently profiled in a great Los Angeles Daily News piece during the MLB spring training on his unique – and persistent – path to the big leagues.
Robertson, who had a strong rookie season at the MLB level in 2014 for the Texas Rangers, was traded during the off-season to his hometown Angels. An outfielder with a knack for the athletic catch in the field and the speed to be a base-stealing threat at any point, he will likely factor heavily into the lineup this season for the Angels.
