Salpointe’s Benji Thomas and Kylie Wild are among the top four of all Southern Arizona cross-country runners in their respective divisions, with sectionals around the corner in early November. Thomas’ season-best of 16:35 puts him #4 among D-III boys, while Wild’s 18:55 mark puts her #3 among D-III girls. Full story…
Special congratulations to Speed School athlete Sabrina Wexler, who recently defended her 2018 title in winning the 2019 TUSD cross-country meet. Wexler, a 5th-grader, has also won TUSD titles on the track, taking first in three events earlier this spring.
