As the high school basketball season enters 2024 and starts to pick up steam, two Desert Speed School athletes are among the Southern Arizona scoring leaders. Rincon/UHS freshman standout Leila O’Dowd is currently ranked 2nd in the area with a 21.8/game average, while Catalina Foothills’ Clara-Mae Hrouch is 8th with 17.7/game.
