Speed School athlete and two-way Salpointe star Mario Padilla will be a Wildcat next year, head coach Kevin Sumlin and the UA staff announced last week. The 2018 Southern Arizona Athlete of the Year as named by AllSportsTucson, he will graduate from Salpointe this spring having been part of two consecutive state championship games and finishing with a 35-6 record over the last three varsity seasons.
