Anchored by Speed School athletes Trent Strong and Luke Regina on the defensive side of the ball, undefeated 4A Salpointe has qualified for the elite Open Division heading into the playoffs. Combining the top eight teams at any level into a bracket for the top State Championship title, the #1-ranked 4A Lancers go into the Open Division as the 4-seed.
