Standout distance runner and Speed School athlete Kylie Wild was named Southern Arizona Freshman of the Year by AllSportsTucson, following her first year racing at the high school level for the Salpointe Lancers. Wild, who placed 5th individually at the state level to go along with a runner-up team finish, also garnered numerous other honors by the site: All-Freshman Team, 1st-team Southern Arizona, and 1st-team Division.
