Desert Speed School athletes and junior golfers Chase Pickering and Jensen Bell were among the age-group winners of the Oro Valley Junior Championships, as reported by Javier Morales of AllSportsTucson. The tournament, part of the Ricki Rarick Junior Program, was held at Oro Valley Country Club and The Views Golf Club June 28-29. Bell won the girls’ 9-10 age bracket while Pickering (above) had one of the top scores across all divisions en route to winning the boys’ 13-14 divison.
