Desert Speed School athletes were among the top performers under the week 7 lights on Friday. Among the players who stood out:
- Pusch Ridge quarterback Ryan Fontaine accounted for 4 TDs through the air and ground for the Lions, adding 160 yards passing and 88 rushing
- Tanque Verde’s Brendan Ganem threw for 260 yards with 4 TDs, and added 107 yards on the ground with a TD. Meanwhile, his teammate CJ Lopez provided 3 sacks and a fumble recovery on the defensive side
- Empire’s two-way star Jake Lambert had a team-high 10 tackles for the Ravens to go along with 55 yards rushing
