As reported by Andy Morales of AZPreps365, the Salpointe Lancer Baseball Classic took place last week with Tucson-area teams competing along with teams from across the Southwest. Desert Speed School athletes Alex Reitz, Chase North, Rocco Haggard, and Beck Caballero are part of a Tanque Verde team that won their first-round matchup, and host Salpointe featured Speed School athletes Jaxson Greene, Izaiah Moraga, and Gunner Geile winning their first round matchup as well.
