Chaminade University guard and Desert Speed School alum Emma Morris was recently honored with All-District Academic honors, according to the University.
Chaminade University women’s basketball guard Emma Morris (Tucson, Ariz./Tanque Verde) was named Tuesday to the College Sports Communicators Academic (CSC) All-District Team.
The junior averaged 7.2 points and 4.5 rebounds per contest this season while her 17 blocked shots are tied for 11th in the Pacific West Conference. Morris, who just completed her junior season, has 49 career 3-pointers and is just one away from breaking into the program’s top-10 in the category. Her 29 blocks rank seventh in team history.
Morris currently has a cumulative grade-point average of 3.78 in Integrative and Organismal Biology.
