As reported by Andy Morales, a pair of Desert Speed School athletes were recognized by their respective colleges recently, with Will Birchard capping off an impressive men’s soccer season by being named to the Division III All-West Region Team. Birchard was recognized as Conference Player of the Week several times throughout the season and ultimately led his Claremont Mud Scripps team to the Conference Championship.
Meanwhile, Pusch Ridge grad Kendall Tobin, now playing for Hillsdale College, was named Defensive Scout Team Player of the Week for the Chargers. This is the second time this season that Tobin has received this recognition. Full details…
