Desert Speed School athlete and Colorado Mesa senior Ashley Bradford was named to the South Central All-Region Team for Colorado Mesa, following a powerhouse season at the plate for the Mavericks.
Bradford had one of the best all-around seasons in the RMAC, finishing tenth in the RMAC for slugging percentage (.680), seventh for on-base percentage (.447) and fifth for on-base plus slugging percentage (1.127) while hitting .349 with 11 doubles, three triples and 13 home runs. She also finished eighth in the RMAC for home runs, ninth for runs scored (45) and tenth for RBIs (42) while drawing 25 walks, seventh most in the conference.
In conference game only statistics, Bradford led the league in batting average (.434), on-base percentage (.532) and OPS (1.377) while ranking second in slugging at .845.
