Desert Speed School athlete and Salpointe grad Kylee Callahan, now a sophomore guard for Knox College, was named the Midwest Conference Performer of the Week recently, following her all-around dominating performance in a win for her Prairie Fire team. Callahan scored 31 points and grabbed 8 rebounds to go along with 5 assists in a 96-80 win over Aurora.
