Cienega hurdler and Speed School athlete Izaiah Brown recently traveled to Mesa to compete in the USA Track & Field state championships, where he ran personal bests to win the 400m hurdles and finish 2nd in the 110m hurdles. Brown’s finish in both events qualifies him for the regional championship later this summer, where a top four finish would send him to Kansas to the national championships.
