Clifford Commits to New Mexico State

Desert Speed School athlete and 3A Player of the Year Preston Clifford, fresh off leading Sabino to a state championship, has committed to play baseball at New Mexico State, according to Andy Morales of AllSportsTucson. A .398 hitter for Sabercats who also boasted a 9-0 record on the mound as a pitcher, Clifford will be the third Speed School athlete on the team. He joins Desert Christian graduate Andrew Edwards and freshman All-American Nick Gonzales of Cienega on the Aggies roster. Full story…
