As reported by Andy Morales of AllSportsTucson, the high school cross-country season is around the corner and this year brings a number of returning runners to keep an eye on this season. The watch list includes Aric Accetta (Salpointe), Andrew Smith (Tanque Verde), and Zoe Porteig (Tanque Verde).
Accetta will be hoping to help lead his Salpointe team back to a strong finish at the state meet, where the Lancers finished as runner-up in 2022.
