Desert Speed School athlete Morgan Faunce and her Empire teammates completed a historic run through the state softball playoffs, culminating in a convincing 10-6 win in the state title game over #1-ranked Valley Christian. As reported by John Theriault of AZPreps365, the Ravens built what would become an insurmountable 8-2 lead in part on Faunce’s RBI double in the 6th.
