As reported by Javier Morales of AllSportsTucson, Desert Speed School athletes Gavin Gilbert and Grayson Bradshaw were named as Week 6 Top Performers following Tanque Verde’s dominating 58-0 win over Catalina. Bradshaw, a safety, was named a Top Performer after notching 5 tackles (2 for loss), while Gilbert earned the recognition – his third of the season – after rushing for 3 touchdowns on the offensive ball and recording 10 tackles (5 for loss) on the defensive. Tanque Verde is now 4-1 on the season following the win.
