A number of Speed School athletes were once again highlighted for their performances on the field this past week. According to Javier Morales of AllSportsTucson, top performers included:
Daniel Montana (Cienega) – Threw for a touchdown pass in the Bobcats’ convincing 46-0 win over Marana. Defensive back Sebastian Felix added an interception to preserve the shutout.
Garrick Krautz (Catalina Foothills) – Led his Falcons in tackles (12).
Chase Cassel (Ironwood Ridge) – 132 yards passing with a touchdown for the Nighthawks.
Trent Strong and Luke Regina (Salpointe) – The Lancer captains continued to anchor the defense, with Strong leading the team in tackles (14), while Regina picked up 2 sacks among his 5 tackles, making him the current Southern Arizona leader in sacks.
