A special congratulations to Speed School athlete Makenna Brown and her Ironwood Ridge golf teammates in winning their second consecutive state championship. As reported by Andy Morales, the Nighthawks fended off a charging Cactus Shadows team that ultimately finished 2 strokes back. For her part, Brown finished 24th overall, with fellow Speed School athletes Cassidy Morrow (Sahuaro) and Emarie Sooter (Sabino) finishing 40th and 55th, respectively. Full story…
