Desert Speed School athlete and Hastings College junior linebacker Jake Lambert was named Defensive Player of the Week recently, following his performance for the Broncos in Week 1 of the college football season in which he accumulated 9 total tackles. A top returning player for Hastings, the Empire grad is expected to help anchor the defense for the team.
