Speed School athletes fared well at the recent Lancer Track & Field Invite, according to Andy Morales of AZPreps365. Catalina Foothills sprinter Paden Hall took 1st in the 200m with a time of 22.60, while Salpointe standout Michael Urbanski won the 800m with a 2:00 run. On the girls’ side, Boston College-commit Kylie Wild and her relay teammates won the 4×800. Individually, Wild (2:22) and fellow Speed School athlete Natalie Flores (2:27) of Ciengea took 1st and 3rd, respectively, in the open 800m.
