Desert Speed School athlete Sydney Lenhart, a senior midfielder for Brandeis University, was recently named a United Soccer Coaches Association All-Region selection following her fall season for the Judges. From the university press release:
Lenhart, who was an All-Region third team selection in 2022, moves up to the second team this year. Lenhart led the Judges with five goals and 11 points this season. Three of her five goals were game-winners, including in a 2-0 win over Fitchburg State on Sept. 3; a 2-1 win over Bridgewater State on Sept. 19, when she scored in the 79th minute; and in a 5-1 win over Lesley on Sept. 30, when Lenhart recorded her first collegiate hat trick. Lenhart, who is expected to return in 2024 for a graduate season, has 14 career goals and five assists in three seasons for the Judges.
