As reported by Andy Morales of AllSportsTucson, Salpointe softball (Jordan Goedel, Brooke Wild) won their sixth consecutive state championship, setting a 4A record for most consecutive titles. The Lancers avenged earlier losses during the season to cross-town rival CDO following an offensive outburst in the title game – one that included a home run by Goedel, culminating in a convincing 11-0 win (5 innings).
