The Pima women’s basketball team has advanced to the NJCAA D-II national tournament. Playing in a shortened and delayed season, the Aztecs were a convincing winner in the district championship game, defeating Mountain View College 79-51. As reported by Greg Hansen, the Aztecs relied heavily on post player and Tanque Verde grad Nikya Orange, who provided a double-double performance with 12 points and an impressive 17 rebounds.
