Desert Speed School athletes Kiya Dorroh and Emma Morris have received recognition for their play on the court during the 2019-2020 season. Morris, a senior at Tanque Verde, was named the Arizona Daily Star 3A South Defensive Player of the Year for the Hawks. Dorroh, who helped lead her Sabino team to the 3A title, was recognized as the Star’s Offensive Player of the Year to go along with a MaxPreps first-team All-State selection.
