As reported by Javier Morales of AllSportsTucson, second-seeded Pusch Ridge won their first boys’ soccer title over the weekend, beating top-ranked Gilbert Christian 2-1 to win the 3A State Championship. Desert Speed School athletes Kegan Dorschner and Erik Rafacz are part of the Lions’ team, with Dorschner scoring a critical goal (20′) to serve as the equalizer for Pusch. A senior, he spoke to the chemistry of the team: “A lot of this has to do with the chemistry with these guys,” Dorschner said. “I’ve played with about ten of them for more than a decade.
