Three Desert Speed School athletes are part of an upstart Tanque Verde football program looking to turn some heads this upcoming season, according to AllSportsTucson’s Andy Morales. Under the leadership of first-time head coach Jay Dobyns, the Hawks went 3-0 last season before the cancellation of the season due to the pandemic. Among the players to keep an eye on are two-way quarterback/defensive back Brendan Ganem, receiver/defensive back Kaden Eichinger, and defensive end CJ Lopez.
