As reported by Javier Morales, 3A Sabino recently took on 4A Sahuaro – featuring the nation’s 8th-best scorer in Alyssa Brown – at McKale Center recently as part of the MLK Classic. Desert Speed School athlete and Sabino junior Kiya Dorroh provided the Sabercats both scoring and strong defensive play in the contest, limiting Brown to 17 points while providing 20 points of her own for Sabino.
