As reported by Andy Morales of AZPreps365, Desert Speed School athletes from the Empire and Salpointe softball teams have advanced to the 3A and 4A state title games, respectively. Both schools made the final games following wins over fellow Tucson-area teams, with Empire (Morgan Faunce) defeating Tanque Verde (Chloe Hotchkiss, Lizzy Pratt, Cassidy Jones) earlier this week, and Salpointe (Brooke Wild, Jordan Goedel) advancing following their win over Mica Mountain.
