As reported by Andy Morales, Salpointe looks to be the team to beat in the 4A Kino region, following a convincing 18-0 win over Ironwood Ridge this week. Speed School athlete Brooke Wild batted in a whooping five of those runs while going 2-4 from the plate, including a home run. Wild and fellow Speed School athlete Cierra Aguilar, along with the rest of their Lancer teammates, will see Ironwood again today in a back-to-back rematch of sorts. Full story…
