As reported by Andy Morales, Desert Speed School athlete Krista Martinez and her Salpointe teammates won a hard-fought state championship game against Greenway on Tuesday, ultimately prevailing with a 2-0 win. Martinez’s sacrifice bunt helped advance what would ultimately become the first run of the game for the Lancers in the second inning.
