School Record For Wild, DMR Team

Desert Speed School athlete and two-time defending state cross-country champion Kylie Wild was a part of the Salpointe Distance Medley Relay team setting a school record recently at the 18th Annual Mario Castro Invitational. As reported by Andy Morales of AllSportsTucson, Wild and her DMR teammates secured the relay win – and the school record – with a time of 12:48. Wild also added a 1st-place finish in the 3200m to help her Lancer teammates win the Invitational.

On the boys’ side, Speed School athlete Michael Urbanski won the boys’ 3200m and was part of the winning DMR team as well, also helping the boys’ team secure the Invitational win. Full results…
