Ten Desert Speed School athletes were recognized as Winter All-Stars for their performance on the field during the 2021-2022 high school season. The list was highlighted by Salpointe midfielder Trinity Morales, a state champion as part of the Lancer team, who was named AZPreps365 Region Player of the Year along with AllSportsTucson Player of the Year. Morales was also awarded with February Athlete of the Month by AllSportsTucson after she scored a crucial goal in penalties to seal the 2OT state championship win for Salpointe.
