Three Desert Speed School athletes are among the area stat leaders as the high school softball season is now in full swing. As reported by Javier Morales of AllSportsTucson, Desert Christian junior Lilly Crawford is currently ranked 4th in RBI and 10th in batting average, while Salpointe senior Jordan Goedel (pictured) is also a threat at the plate with 5 home runs on the season (7th overall), and is also herself ranked 8th in RBI.
From the pitcher’s circle, Sabino junior and 3x state champion Avery Nielson is currently 9th among pitchers with a 6-2 record, and 7th with a 0.72 ERA.
