Sabino standout Jeremy Timpf, currently a junior at West Point, was named Captain of the football team for the upcoming 2015 season. The first junior captain in six years for the Black Knights, Timpf comes off a 2014 season in which he led the team in tackles and was named Player of the Week three times throughout the season. His play has not escaped noticed nationally, as he has also been named 1st-team All-American to Phil Steele’s Preseason list (Independent Division), and is on the 2015 Bednarik Award Watch List for the nation’s top linebacker.
