A number of Speed School athletes have advanced another step closer to a state championship for football and volleyball, headlined by Salpointe football’s win over CDO. Linebacker Cameron Tober had 3 tackles and a sack for the Lancer defense, and Mario Padilla scored the only touchdown of the game to help lead Salpointe to a win. Full Arizona Daily Star story here.
In other action among Speed School athletes, Sabino, Ironwood, and Cienega football all won their matchups and advanced, along with Sahuaro volleyball.
