At the plate, Desert Christian shortstop Lilly Crawford is #4 among area players in batting with a .611 average. Meanwhile, Sabino starting pitcher Avery Nielson is #4 in wins, #6 ERA, and #8 in strikeouts. Across town, CDO’s ace Sydnee Wendel is #5 in ERA among Southern Arizona pitchers.
